Truth: Infanticide Now Available After Two Days of Conception
Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis, (P.G.D.) is the socially acceptable and man serving name for infanticide. The process involves removing a cell from a child embryo, approximately 2 days after the baby is conceived for genetic testing. Based on the lab results obtained, the child is either implanted in the womb of the mother, or discarded as substandard. While this is touted as “short of miraculous” by some, it really boils down to selective genetic engineering.
Before getting lost in the pseudoscience of humanism we must not be distracted from the real question before us. Let me give you an example in another arena. If you go into a car dealership to just browse without a firm conviction on whether you need a car or not, you will be influenced through the dealer pitching the cars wonderful accessories and probably buy a car. The real questions of “do I really need a car and what am I willing to pay for it?” are initially ignored and not addressed until you’re sold on the idea you should purchase one. The minor questions and influences like ‘wouldn’t you look good in this, and aren’t the stow-away seats convenient’ replace the major question and real issue. Once you have been sold on the accessories, the major question literally takes a back seat. In the case of buying the car, the features are not bad, in fact they may be very good, but they have become the justification and answer while the major question ‘Do I need a new car now?’ is ignored.
While I am not discounting the hardship and pain associated with genetic abnormalities, the true question still remains and cannot be ignored. Who defines when life begins? Man or God? I believe God is the Creator and giver of life, that life begins at conception, and that God knows and ordains a life even before it is created in the womb. Despite how good the features of genetic testing may be the answer to the real question Who defines when life begins is God and PGD is infanticide.
Here are some excerpts from the article about PGD that every Christian believer must look at in light of God’s truth
“Only healthy, disease-free embryos are implanted into the uterus.”
“ The test is no guarantee that a miscarriage can be avoided because many factors can
interrupt the normal course of a pregnancy.” It is a guarantee that the children rejected have no chance for survival.
“ Without P.G.D., many women over 35 get an amniocentesis around the 15th week of pregnancy to test for disabling genetic diseases. If a disease is found, the couple then faces the choice of having an abortion or bearing the child. Andrew R. Labarbera, scientific director of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine said, ‘That’s very distasteful for many people who don’t have a problem undergoing P.G.D. to avoid this situation.’” If it is so distasteful at 15 weeks, why is it perfectly fine at one week? Again the main question rings true. Who defines when life begins man or God. If we go by God the Creator’s principles, it is all distasteful. If we rely on man, then life begins only when it is too difficult to deny the embryo appears human.
Abortion is social-babble for infanticide. Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis is scieo-babble for infanticide. Make sure you have clearly answered the main question of who defines life before you listen to the sales pitches of well meaning but extremely deceived professionals.
